IIT Kanpur released the GATE exam 2023 notification and the official link to apply online for the GATE 2023 exam on 30 August 2022 for candidates wishing to take the exam. What is GATE?

GATE will contain 29 subjects or papers beginning in 2023, according to the updated system. Last year, two new subjects were introduced: Environmental Science and Engineering (ES) and Humanities and Social Science (XS). This year, two new disciplines were added: Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering and Geomatics Engineering. As a result, the total number of papers has climbed to 29.

About GATE Registration
The GATE online Registration 2023 commenced on 30th August 2022 with 7th October 2022 being the last date for registration. GATE registrations can be completed by registering in the GATE Online Application Processing System (GOAPS) gateway. Candidates in their third year of their Bachelor’s degree, as well as those who have graduated, are eligible for GATE registration.
GATE Exam – Two Combination Paper
The GATE test has two paper combinations, thus applicants who want to sit in both disciplines can choose their primary paper by default, and for their secondary paper, they must refer to the authorised combination determined by the authorities. Remember GATE exam students have to go with these combinations exclusively. Alternative combinations are not preferred.
